    Free Time & Bookplayer's 50 Questions

Only this morning was I thinking about how long it had been since I had any real activity here on this fine webpage. You see, normally I am based in Newcastle, where free time is spent seeing friends, playing games, drinking heavily, or any combination of the aforementioned. This weekend I have been visiting my sister in our fine, albeit expensive, capital of London, where free time was spent

I really need to stop watching new episodes while I'm drunk but come on... by the time it's on youtube for England I'm already out at the pubs knocking back craft lagers and fine ales, which means I can only watch it when I come home and I load it up and I'm like hey, what's going on? And I zone out for half the episode. But still, I'm pretty sure Applejack was all like, 'I hope she took a

    How Could This Happen?

I'd like to share an experience with you. One that I had about half an hour ago. One that I am lucky to have survived.

    > be me
    > run out of toilet roll
    > don't poop for a few days, as no way to wipe butt at home and public toilets are rarely up to the standards required to crap in
    > finally remember to buy butt parchment on the way home from lectures

    Applejack Rocks

Hurr hurr hurr guys look the background pony has the background instrument.
    No FUCK you.

This only confirms AJ as best pony, and anyone who says otherwise is just plain bananas. (not that I'm biased towards bassists or AJ. At all.)

    Four Figures

So it seems today I have a grand total of 1000 story views. Really happy about this, and really glad you guys have read along with what I've done so far and I hope you liked it! There should definitely be more on the way soon, but university work has definitely intensified this year. On top of that I have a job now, tending a swanky, super-expensive (cheapest pint £4.10!!) bar, which is a good

Progress · 10:48pm Oct 16th, 2012

So as of a day or two ago, I've decided that generally I will try to write around 500 words in a sitting, and try to have one sitting per day. Thus my plan fails almost immediately in that I have no free time tomorrow, I've taken up rugby league here at university and tomorrow, straight after lectures is the big derby match against our rival university with whom we share the town, followed by the inevitable rugby club night out straight after that which is never a clean night out, but always an enjoyable one.
To try and make up for this I have had an extended sitting tonight and have just finished writing nearly 1000 words. Seriously, there are people that can do that in an hour or two, crazy... well the day after all that commotion I have no lectures and will definitely be able to write a little more while I recover from the night's festivities.

TL;DR: Chapter 3 currently at just under 2000 words with one major and one minor scene still to write.

Thanks for your time,
Joe.

Yey, progress!

428350 Progress indeed! Plus the other university cancelled the game because of a little bit of rain (Clearly they fear us) giving me some time to write today after all!

Interesting rugby story:

I currently live out in the middle-east, where the temperatures average at about 35 C.
Last year (or perhaps the one before) one of the best Secondary school teams from the south of England came out for a tournament.

It being England, and generally cold and rainy (lucky bastards) they were used to training in said conditions. When they came to play the tournament, starting at 11 and ending at 4, they couldn't stand the heat and got completely thrashed XD.

Was a lot of fun and the post-rugby tournament party was too.

428558
Yeah I've heard the same about altitude, going to a highly elevated country and gasping for breath five minutes into the first half.
Unfortunately I've never had the opportunity to play abroad, maybe some time in the future...
Do you play union then?

428569

Aye, I play union, though I can't say that I've ever actively watched a rugby game.

430720
I know what you mean, watching has never appealed to me that much. Especially on TV. I was lucky enough to see England vs Argentina at Twickenham a while ago and that was a great atmosphere. I might try and get tickets for the world cup as we're hosting it in 2015.
What position do you play? I played as a union prop since I was 8 before coming here and trying league.

430787

Second Row or prop, depending on the weaknesses of the opposing team.

If I need to get around and out of the scrums faster I play second row, if we need someone with less strength and a bit more speed to move around easier then I go prop.

And occasionally I just kinda sit at the back and start thinking about ponies, depending on how well the team is doing.

430806
'fast' was something I never quite established... so obviously I miss rucks and mauls and lineouts and scrums now.
Imagine pony rugby... now there's something I'd pay to see, except I'm not sure how they'd hold the ball...

430823

I'm not very fast, I used the word faster. It's if they need strength in the rucks that inevitably form after a scrum that I go second Row.

And pony Rugby would be awesome.

I think they'd hold a small version of the ball in their mouths or perhaps have some sort of handle attached. The issue is how would they pass it?

430835
Hmm, with holding it in their mouths it'd have to be a flick of the neck I'd guess, leading to ponies with necks like tree trunks, leading to scrums with enough horse power to condense dark matter, get it? Horse power? Hahaha, no? okay...

430847

XD

Rugby: A Ruffian's sport Played by gentlemen.

Gentleman: A man who can play the accordion, but doesn't.

Please tell me you also play the accordion XD

430849
I have tried playing one, however the results weren't entirely satisfactory...
If it makes up for it, I play guitar, bass and viola :derpytongue2:

430882

XD I guess it does.

430884
Hooray! I'd hate to disappoint :scootangel:
