Hello everypony!

Surprise! I've decided to write a short-ish blog in order to celebrate me uploading a new avatar! It's an image of a sultry looking Lyra searching a Rule 34 website for "my_little_human".

Deciding on an Avatar

Idea

I did do some half-hearted attempts to find a suitable picture before this, but as I said, it was only half-hearted. And after some time with the default image for the avatar, I decided I should finally really search for a unique avatar of my own, because I can't really expect myself to like such a bland image. Also, Rarity would complain, I know it . So, after thinking for a while about what kind of avatar I would like, I decided to search for a pony using a computer. After all, my favorite pastime is using the computer to read fanfiction/watch youtube.

So I searched Google Images for a picture of a pony using a computer. At first, I was a bit disappointed because none appealed enough to me to be used. I did find the image that would become my avatar, but I only though of it as funny and saved it so I could remember it, but didn't think to actually use it. After spending a few slightly frustrating minutes perusing the selection of pictures, my mind went back to that interesting image of Lyra browsing a Rule 34 website; it was an image of a pony using a computer and it was funny. So after spending a few moments in thought, I decided to look at it more closely.

After finding the image again — which, granted, wasn't that hard — I focused on the search bar in the image, and then found it had "my_little_human" in it. That was the deciding detail, after all, it definitely seemed like something Fanon Lyra would do and it made the image even funnier, which, combined with the look on Lyra's face, made the image a definite winner, seeing as there were no other appealing images. Besides, something about the whole image in general seemed very Lyra-ish and Fimfiction-ish, and that was great. (It even overcame my aversion to using something explicit, even if it was only a little)

Edit: I have just noticed the other tabs that Lyra has opened on the top of her screen. A google search for "hands", a youtube search for "my little human", EarthDaily (obvious reference there), and even an Amazon search for pants. Just hilarious, cracking I say.

And that was how I found my avatar. The full image is down below, for those of you who are interested (although there isn't much else).
