Cupcakes mini review (spoilers kinda) · 12:44am Nov 1st, 2017
In the the spirit of Halloween I've decided to read Cupcakes for the first time...
Long story short, I'm underwhelmed.
I've had this story hyped up to me by so many people, and to me it kinda doesn't live up to it's reputation. The pacing is odd, I feel like it glossed over some stuff it should have put more detail into, and I have to side with Pinkie on this one: Dash should have put up more of a fight.
Doesn't help that I'm a sucker for puns. That's right folks, I actually was slightly amused! Shocking isn't it?
And lastly, I'm not even disturbed. If anything I'm a little sad and slightly confused. Sad because I feel bad that RD had to go through that and that she didn't last longer. Confused because unanswered questions. Is there a sequel to this? Because I'm not satisfied in the slightest.
In summary: I have a dark sense of humor, I find this more as a sad story because that's how I feel, and I really want a sequel.
