I've got a way to solve my villain problem! Okay, now according to my research into the Assassinverse lore, it takes several years for the powder keg that is the Traditionalists and Progressives to ignite. I mean, Mystic Sparkle was at least a young filly when Equestrians First shows up. So, maybe, during that time period... this enters the fray?
In this case, it'll be founded by either Sunset Shimmer or Starlight Glimmer, and funded by Fancy Pants and other Noble families, a few months after Twilight's murder. Of course, S.T.A.R. Labs is named after the murdered Princess. With help from magic, S.T.A.R. Labs is able to build a particle accelerator, "an achievement that would do Twilight Sparkle proud," after only a few years. Of course, the Traditionalists are pissed off about it, so Amadeus Blueblood has it sabotaged, and we all know what happens when a S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator is rigged to go wrong...
Bada bing, bada boom, we've got Metaponies on our hands, and thus, allies for both Daniel West and Amadeus Blueblood, who actually becomes a Metapony himself, maybe even a Speedster. I'm still working out the kinks, as it'll need some fine-tuning.

I know you're just trying to help, but you gotta let me come up with some of this stuff myself. Too many DC villains and this isn't so much an Assassinverse story as much as a DC crossover story.
