Story Up Date #2 · 10:13pm Oct 5th, 2017
So as most of you have noticed there hasn't been an update to Homebound recently. Well to be blunt with all of you I lost interest in writing the third chapter, but don't panic I am back at writing the chapter. Though a new problem as arisen...College. So I will continue writing whenever I get the chance like today. Though the third chapter is going to be big and it will explain quite a bit of information. So here is a bit of banter between Jericho, Spitfire, and Andrew/Leonidas from Andrew's POV.
"The eye patch is new. There a story behind it?" asked Jericho while I rummaged through the storage looker behind the pilot's seat.
"Eh...well I got towards the end of Dessert Storm. It's from rolling out of the way of a sniper round which missed headshotting me, but took my left eye instead." I answered as I climbed out of the cockpit and pulled CT's mind core from the Monarch Titan.
"Damn. I knew you had some luck, but not that much." Stated Spitfire
"Yeah well, you did have some trouble keeping up with me when we did street races as a crew." I stated poking fun at her driving skill. Which made her pout, which is quite adorable to look at. Though at that point
"And if memory serves correct you had a tendency to crash quite a lot at high speeds." countered Spitfire
"Touché." I stated
"When the hell were you two street racers!?!?" asked Jericho.
"On Terra." Spitfire and I said at the same time.
"Jinxes, you owe me a Coke!" stated Spitfire quickly after after we answered Jericho's question.
"Damit!" I exclaimed
There you all go. Now onto other news I had decided to restart Just Perfect. Though during the restart of Just Perfect didn't sound right for what I had come up with so I renamed it Guardians of Equestria. Also I want to see what you all think of basically a new story so here is the long description.
(Formally Just Perfect) Hey my name is Maximus Meridius (Yes I was named after the main character of Gladiator.) and well the world went FUBAR thanks to North Korea. That was apparently two hundred years ago. How I survived to live that long is still a mystery to me, but when I awoke I found what remained of my house. After I had confirmed that it was my house I went back in to gather up my survival gear and some of my belongings that mysteriously survived the EMP effects of the nukes, two hundred years of sitting around, and looters, but that was not the weirdest thing. For the prop Sunshot hand cannon from Destiny 2, that I had bought at a comic-con the year after Destiny 2 launched, had become real as in it was functional and the Traitor’s Fate Sword prop, I got at the same comic-con, was razor sharp and seemed to never dull or break from lack of ammo. A fact I found out over the years of use. As that was not weird enough I started seeing energy and power ammo boxes from any creature that was slain by the weapons. The power ammo seemed to only work with a Barrett M107A1 I found wondering the wasteland that was once the United States of America. So with all the weirdness out of the way... Wait, never mind it just continued for I found a lot of creature from Fallout 4. Thankfully a majority fell to my Sunshot. With that in order I tried to find survivors, but all I found was bandits who tried to kill me. After a year of searching I found a hand held crank radio that was receiving a signal from the south so I went south. After several months I think, I found some survivors living on a wreaked ship in the middle of the desert. I was accepted to live with them after I had thwarted a bandit raid with several shots from my hand cannon. It had been a good twenty years living there. It was hard and strange for me but I made it work. Over the years there were quite a few Deathclaw attacks along with bandits that tried to take what resources we had. They were always killed off and looted for their gear and ammunition. One day I was out patrolling the border of our little oasis when twenty Eradicated Deathclaws attacked. I managed to takedown nineteen of them, but severely damaged the last one, which managed to get the killing blow. At the some time I fired off the last round in the chamber of my hand cannon. That was what I thought would be my last memory but fate had other ideas and I went through what felt like being teleported to another world entirely. Which was actually four million years into the future in a way It was weird for all I saw for some time was total darkness upon which time seemed to fade into nothingness. While I was in what I think was limbo during the "transfer" I was told that I and two others from the world I would "end up in" were to help save it form a great darkness….as Guardians. Wonderfull.
