The expansion works better than the rest of the game. It has a single, solid story that is constantly built upon, rather than a bunch of separate story lines with little flow.
There's a few characters who are staples and are important to the story, along with a few familiar faces.
And there's a new villain in the Eternal Empire, as opposed to the Sith Empire or the Republic.

I'm sorry. Usually whenever it comes to games with great stories for me, it's gameplay first and story second. A game is only as strong as it's gameplay, and truth be told, I found KOTOR II one of the most boring games I've ever played. I got ten minutes into it before turning off my Xbox and playing through Battlefront II.

I just really hate the mechanic of just hitting one button and waiting/hoping that you win and take as little damage as possible. It's boring and dull, and I find the ensuing battle incredible uninteresting... even Final Fantasy, for as much I dislike those games, had more player input.

Worst yet from KOTOR are the stupid stats. What's the point of having as much stuff to worry about there is if none of it is either interesting, engaging, etc. Three separate screens dedicated to God knows what that barely means anything in the long run... I'll gladly take Final Fantasy over KOTOR any day... that said, I still don't like either.

Hmm, I could read it, but problem is that I'm not a fan of the other series that are present there. Granted, I do like the Star Wars movies, but never been a big fan of the series.
