My time is running short. No, I'm not dying.
I mean my time here. On FiMFic.
I've noticed recently that I've been spending less and less time here. During December I posted only one blog and it was a joke referencing Doki Doki Literature Club. I never posted a blog for Christmas or the New Year or even the 'monthly update' that I'd been doing.
I think that's mainly because it's safe to say that my interest in MLP is dying. I still like the show and think that it (mostly) deserves it's popularity, but at the same stroke, I can tell I'm moving on from it. I'll occasionally watched an episode here and there, but I haven't taken the time to even catch up with the show. I'm getting older; it's safe to sat that my interests are changing.
I've been thinking about posting this blog for a while now. Trying to figure out what to say, why I feel this way, that sort of thing. In the end, I think it's because my love for writing fanfiction is dying too. Lately, I've been writing original content with original characters as opposed to fanfiction. Whilst I'm upset that Doctor Whooves will probably never be finished, I think it's for the best. I've been promising World War Equestria since 2016. After two years, I've barely written anything. Plus, when I do blog, only about three or four of you comment (Special thanks to Shadow rift, pokefreak13, Son Elec and Galaxy Nebula).
I just feel...irrelevant. I feel like I'm slowly drifting away from this site and I'm too lazy to grab the paddle and go back towards it. So I think it's time. Instead, I'm going to grab the paddle and go in the opposite direction. It's time I move on.
I've seen many people leave this site now. Some of them you might remember. FelineFluff, Tavi4, Ms Loopy Doo, Infinity Shade, Golden Phoenix, RedVelvet Melody, Cookie Crumbles, Icy the Charmander, Crimson Ink...Vanilla Mocha...
There are some people I'm surprised are still here (Hey Lightning Sword. You doing okay? We haven't talked in a while. I hope you're okay and your YouTube channel's going well).
At the time of those guys' leaving, I didn't understand it. I though 'how could you leave this wonderful site and all you friends?' But now I get it. They moved on. They felt like their time was up. And I get it now.
I'm not sure when I'll be leaving, exactly. Probably sometime this month, maybe near the end.
So if there's anything you want to talk to me about, PM me or comment on this blog post. I'll put it on my user page too, so go look at that. I hope you guys care about this.
And for what it's worth, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for making my years here memorable and happy.

Actually, if you allow me, I will write who stories for you and continue on where you left off. Y'know for yer fans. ('Who' knows Doctor might go ginger in one of mah stories fer a bit, that is til a villain or something takes it away).
I understand. It's sad to see you leave, but this is how life goes. Thanks for the entertainment you provide, I really liked your Doctor Who fics, it's what decide me to follow you in the first place.

I know how you feel, I've almost completely stopped watching the show and I only read a few stories on here. When I first got on FimFic I didn't really know what to do but then I found your Doctor Whooves story. You're the reason I stayed on FimFic and managed to find the amazing people now in my life.
