Time Stones Will Be Canon in the CMI Timeline · 11:41pm Sep 17th, 2017

I have decided to add the Time Stones into CMI and it's Sonic spin-off. For those of you who don't know, the Time Stones are a set of seven gems that Sonic had (not exactly true, the Good End can also be obtained by destroying all 14 Robot Transporters and all 12 Metal Sonic Holograms in the past) to collect in Sonic CD. These stones act differently than the Chaos Emeralds in that they grant the wielder of them to control time itself. Design wise, they resemble the Elements of Harmony when Celestia and Luna used them against Discord in Season 4 Episode 2 and are colored (in order from first to last) Green, Orange, Yellow, Blue, Cyan, Purple, and Red (I'd have taken a screenshot of what they look like, but I have yet to actually collect all 7 of them. The closest I've gotten in a single run is 6. Despite this, an image of what they look like is down below.) In game all this does is turn every acts future into the good future from Quartz Quadrant Act 2 onward (the earliest that you can have all 7 is in Quartz Quadrant Act 1), so I'm gonna take some creative liberties here. They will let the wielder(s) control the flow of time surrounding them, allow personal time travel, and can send or summon anything through time to/from the past or the future. These will be a back up for Sonic after he loses the Emeralds (they still can't grant a Super Form) and may even be an element in his story, as well as the reason that Classic Sonic shows up.

The three images of each Time Stone on the left are how they look like when collected in the Special Stages, and the ones on the right are how they look on the Results Screen. Because Sonic is shown collecting them in the ones on the left, that is how they will look.
