Major New Story is Imminent!

Sometime in the next week (I hope) I will be publishing a major new novella named To Bring Light to Eternal Darkness. I will initially publish three chapters.

The story is something of a departure for me in FimFiction content. The thing I love about MLP is that everypony in Equestria lives in a feminist paradise; the gender roles mishegas we humans live with in our everyday world is a solved non-issue. My previous FimFiction stories used this as a taking off point, but here my POV will begin her journey to learning that she must change the world for all ponies.

This story harks back to my first published science fiction novel that expostulated upon the oppression of gender roles (for both women as well as men). To Bring Light to Eternal Darkness is coming of age story that speaks to a women's place in society (and by extension, men's) and what happens when invididual desires and needs collide with traditional gender roles from the perspective of a pony who accepts the restrictions. Sunny Daze just wants to do right by her peculiar brother, but other ponies—and the sun—have other ideas. Expect a good read along with a good dose of feminism, adventure, and magic—and a new take on an "old" character.
