    Uh...Hi?

Well uh, dunno what to say if anyone's gonna read this. I kinda disappeared for like...two years nearly. College and all that jazz, I'm sure you know the dealioso. Regardless, if anyone cares, I might revisit those two fanfictions that I had goin' on. Or maybe do that anyway//// Just feel a lil' weird about it cause uh, not so into the directions this whole fandom took/is taking, so I've kinda

    It's 'Snow Joke...

I'm terribly sorry about that pun. Don't hurt me. But it's snowing here! Anyone else have snow?

    Did ya...miss me?

I admit, I've been stuck for a while now. I sat down at my computer, and I had no idea what to write- everything seemed wrong, led to nowhere. I would spend hours fruitlessly procrastinating. The dreaded Writer's Block had gripped me, and it had gripped me hard. The impending fact of exams looming ever closer did nothing to help me relax and get over it. For Poison Fangs, Scaly Tails and

    It's Christmas Eve...

And the Christmas Spirit has got me all excited and sentimental, so I wrote up a thing. I just thought I'd post it here, like I do with all the other 'poems' I concoct.

It’s raining again, on Christmas Eve,
To glance out the window, you can scarcely believe,
That this is the time before Christmas Day.
With the sky a melancholic grey,
There is no chance of snow, t’would seem,

    The unthinkable has happened...

    I...have updated.

Shocking, I know. Sorry this took so long, school, real life, and other things kept me from sweet, sweet, writing, but the next chapter shouldn't take nearly as long. You should probably go read it or something, if you would like. I hope that you enjoy it!

Oh, goody, Poetry Time again! · 3:20pm Oct 12th, 2012

I wanted to make a poem without any rhyming in it, because I have never done it before, and this is the result. Uh, enjoy, I suppose.

A Worldly Watercolour

At the start, there was black. Warm and comforting, I wait, a blank canvas for the world.
And then, an explosion of colour. Reds, yellows, and fiery oranges all swirl in rush, eager to paint themselves upon my mind.
Others come next, sparkling emerald greens and sapphire blues astound me, their vibrancy forming the first coat of life.
Then, the tall bright pillars of emotions that have been with me since the beginning,
Begin to mould me, to form me with their beliefs, feelings, and dreams of every hue.
They are both sculpture, and sculptor, and under their careful hands I become something new, both belonging to and apart from my makers.
And still the colours come, the many shades of the world rushing in a torrent around me, smoothing away my self, my being, my soul.
Yet even as I am changed, I trail my thoughts behind, the vivid patterns of my experiences adding to the vast pallet of the universe.
And someday, when I am aged and tinged with grey, my canvas will be filled, and I shall stand as a work of art beside the billions who came before me, and my colours will return to the Earth, sinking through the soil, through the rock, and down into the collective hearts of all the people.
And there they will stay, swirling through stars and spirits, waiting for one to hold up a paintbrush, and begin work on one more portrait, the fibres streaked through with pigments of my life, adding to the mural of existence.

Shorter than my last one, but with a slightly less tongue in cheek tone. Please don't laugh...

Interesting… I like the idea of the canvas of life; metaphors always work brilliantly in poetry. A somewhat deep and almost philosophical view on reality and the opportunity one has to experience it. Very good, I think! You should do some more.

418061 Heh, thanks. I will endeavor to put up any more poetry that I can come up with on here.
