Sneak Peek for the Next Chapter of Saving the SIren · 5:51pm Aug 22nd, 2017
It is hard to describe how Adagio was feeling. When she first put the geodes around her neck, she had felt her mind and body change. It felt like her body was being twisted and mangled. Like something was growing in her bones, worming through her muscles and piercing through her skin. Words could not describe that pain she felt. It was maddening. She had felt her mind warping in her head as if something had pierced her brain and pumped poison into it, spreading like a virus.
It was actually similar to how she had felt after the Battle of the Bands. She could feel something inside her changing. In all those months she spent stalking those who had wronged her, she felt her head swimming. When she saw Sonata and finally found her change to save herself and get her power back, she started returning to normal. She found a plan and went with it. But then Sonata betrayed her. That night when her own flesh and blood, someone who owed Adagio everything, turned her back on her, something snapped. In a way, this was very similar. But it was so sudden. As if everything she had gone through in the past year, every bit of pain and madness, came back full force at once.
Once the transformation was complete, Adagio felt... high. Like she was on top of the world. It made sense to her as she realized she now had the magic. More magic then she had ever had before. She could feel the power coursing through her veins and she knew exactly what to do with it. She had forgotten about the bacon-haired broad behind her and even the pathetic excuse of a siren in front of her. She had simply walked through the door and started singing. It felt so good to sing again. It felt so good to be herself again.
She had walked through the halls. No. Not walk. She floated in the air like the all-powerful being she was. She watched as a green mist spread through the halls. She smiled like she had never smiled before when she passed by the students. They stood motionless, eyes glowing green, trapped under her spell. She had them in her hands. She had the whole wide world in her hands.
As she went through hall after hall, reveling in the control she now had over these humans, she nearly bumped into something. No. Someone. It only took a second for it to click in her head who this was. Her snowy-white skin and infuriatingly perfect purple hair made her unmistakable.
Adagio's heart pounded against her chest in excitement as she grabbed the worthless diva by the throat and effortlessly held her up. Adagio didn't even know where to begin. She could test out her new found power right then and there. There were so many things she could do. So many ways she could hurt her. But before she could even begin, she felt something hard push against her and slam her against the wall. It took a moment for her to get up, more surprised than hurt, and watched as the girl run away and down a different hall. No matter. She still had the minds and hearts of everyone else in her grasp. It only took a few seconds to send them all after her... and her friends... and that backstabbing idiot of a sister.
Daaaaaang!
Can't wait for the new chapter!

It'll take time, but I've got it rolling now.
Wow.... can't wait.
Sonata has to be the one to defeat her if you ask me...Adagio made all this incredibly personal. I smell a victory song coming

Indeed, Adagio has, but her mind is oatmeal right now and she has severely underestimated her sister.
