Old doodles · 6:37am Aug 20th, 2017
I've been super busy and away from computer for the last few days, it's delayed (much like everything I promise) but here are the old doodles.
I'll try to remember why I drew each but my memory isn't the best and some of these doodle are from 6 or 7 years ago. Also I don't have a scanner this is the best I can do.
My attempt at orochi creature with different themed heads, cause I was bored during my free period and had nothing to do. And I think that might be an eye in the center or a hidden head, I can't remember.
My attempt at a Red Eye Ultimate Dragon, again free period and bored. I think it's pretty good but as you see designing legs are my weakness.
An assignment to recreate a piece of artwork from memory, I choose the original card artwork of the Red Eyes Black Dragon and I got a B because the pose is a little off.
Another drawn out of boredom, but the idea was to create the most fucked cyborg mutant thing I could think of, the shaded parts is exposed muscle tissue.
This one was drawn because my highschool mascot was a ram and I wanted to draw a ram kaiju, as you can see I quickly lost interest.
I can't exactly remember why I drew this but think it was because I had recently watched Godzilla Vs. Hedorah ad wanted to try my own pollution monster, take that with a grain of salt that is probably the oldest drawing in the pile I found.
These next two are another art class assignment; it was take simple shapes and make a picture out of them that took up as much space as possible, for both I went for a smaller life form combining into a larger lifeform motif.
This is the second version and the version I like more
This one is from a special art assignment using a special style the name of which alludes me, point is I tried making it from Gandora The dragon of destruction from Yu-gi-oh but failing because I was trying to cover up mistakes i made sense the style is basically wiping away the black covering on a shiny paper thing with a pencil to try and make an image. this style does leave a lot of room for trial and error.
This i think is my favorite in the pile, another Image i made out of boredom and an attempt to make a Gigan like kaiju but with drills because I had watching Gurren Lagann on Sci-fi's ani-monday, yeah that's how old this drawing is. The buzz saw spins in tandem with the drill on the arm and the band on the body is gun barrels meant to spin around shoot stuff and has multiple visors and optics covering its face, if i find the time I would like to redraw it but my next semester starts monday so don't expect that anytime soon.
There's seven more but I'll save them for tomorrow night since it's 12:30 at night right now and I don't want to test the blog word limits more than I already am.
nice
Very nice.
