I can't do it. The fanfic I've been working on all summer only has 10k works, and it's terrible. I've been too busy watching YouTube, reading other fanfictions, and playing video games to really go at it, and I think it's probably the worst thing I've written. I'm calling it off.
I've also realized why I'm a math major and not an English major. I can't write for beans.
I do plan on maybe having a new chapter of Back and Forth with Friends by the time college starts, but don't hold me to that.

Hey man don't down talk yourself u can do it I believe that if you put what you want as your goal then it will help a lot I mean I Want to play for the highschool basketball team and it's my first year playing basketball and I'm crap but I want to succeed that goal so hard that I don't give up even tho I'm going through so much shit and I'm still making free time for it never give up I like your stories personally You are one of the very little people I follow in this site I think that for a guy that just started I show potential to be up there with very good fimfiction writers I might be just. A brony who reads stories and watch videos but I'm one that believes in u so don't stop never stop and keep going
The thing is, college has started. My free time has been drastically reduced and between video games and reading stories, I don't have the time. Not to mention I'm really not feeling the writing mojo.

4646287i know it will be hard but don't give up yet man u might be able to find sometime or u can do what many writers are doing taking a haitus till Thanksgiving it December but don't just stop completely cause u doing ng this has gotten me thinking how I can do the same thing u are basically the reason why I'm thinking of writing a mlp story so don't give up if u want to take a break but don't stop cause you're really good and talented

Girl, people here can update with 1K+. You don't have to put up a complete fanfic--you can chop it up into chapters and work part by part, at your own pace. The story must be told, true, but you are the one who decides how to tell it. Maybe you're busy, sure. Maybe you don't have the time. That doesn't mean you should call it quits entirely.
