shhhhhhhhhhhh just breaking the site again don't mind me

very, very, very experimental fic continues its slow progress as the deadline for bicyclette's sci-fi contest draws near. these chapters are about on-par with what if in terms of length, but oh boy have they been an interesting experience to write.

hey hey btw i've got a (couple of) public minecraft server(s)!

yeah so anyway here is my webbed site lol. there's an MC Classic server for building whatever, and an MC Beta 1.7.3 server for playing survival. I might eventually also put up a modern vanilla server as well, though given how I'm hosting a bunch of servers already for friends and a couple of discord servers, idk if the little slab of a PC I'm using to host 'em all would be able to manage lol.

summer break is almost here :V

basically got one week left lol. got an experimental fic in the works that's a sort-of direct sequel picking off right where Splintershard ended. no prior reading is necessary.

MAN it's been a while since I've toyed with writing styles.

Brace yourselves... the school year is approaching...

Random Fact: Many computer hardware vendors actually own seemingly unrelated companies as subsidiaries. For example, Acer used to run Aopen as a hardware vendor (Something I only know because of the fact that my first PC has an Aopen mobo), and ALi, AKA Acer Labs, inc. AOpen now mostly does business with embedded electronics and special-order PCs, and the part of ALi was acquired by Nvidia.

Thoughts & Opinions~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was going to spend the time between 8 and 9 pm today to do some of my AP Chemistry summer homework, but then I took a Youtube to the productivity.

I share the same pet peeve as my sister: People blatantly ripping off or stealing ideas from others without credit. If you saw my previous blog, a certain somebody happened to take my poorly-drawn derp Spike image from DeviantArt and posted a colored image on their user page.

Bluetooth headphones trade sound quality for portability. I’ll just hook it up in wired mode to my Soundblaster, thank you.

Thrift-store Creative Soundblaster sound cards = amazing audio (compared to integrated) for cheap.

The fastest way to ruin a good mood is to end up doing something mundane immediately afterwards.

If you have a large trampoline near some pine trees, then keep a broom or a leafblower nearby. Your feet will thank you later.

I accidentally left my shed’s window wide open after doing some desoldering on a dead mobo, and on top of that, it happened to be the biggest thunderstorm I’d seen in years last night. Amazingly, literally nothing got inside. It wasn’t even damp when I felt around for moisture in there.

I’ve dedicated more time to my Lab Horse series than what would probably be healthy. I need to start branching out into more things. Again.

It’s kinda funny how me branching out from writing only comedy resulted in me pretty much losing my ability to write decent comedy. I’ve just found that I now enjoy writing SoL and Adventure-based stories much more than I did before I began writing comedy.

Remember the Spacebound Equestria fic I wrote back when I was a new user and still named TechnoNerd? Yeah. Probably one of my first readable stories without much cringe. I used to have the same drive to write that as I do now for my heavily worldbuilding-reliant Lab Horse series.

Once again, this blog is likely now longer than many of the chapters I’ve written in the past. I used to average out at around 200-300 words per chapter, but now that I’m not just writing pure slapstick comedy, it’s much easier and more enjoyable to write longer ones. Heck, I’m even planning on expanding the alternate ending for Lab Horse. (At the request of a commenter, but it’ll still probably help with the spinoff a bit.)

What do you think of my current line of stories? Yes, I might’ve put pretty much everything else on a semi-permanent hiatus, but I’ve been trying to come back to it... :unsuresweetie:
