Random Fact: Samsung still has a pretty large stock of Galaxy Note 7 phones. They’re since replaced the explodey batteries with not-explodey ones and rebadged the phones as the “Galaxy Note Fan Edition”.

I’ve found that it’s become harder and harder for me to write my typical “Random/Comedy” stories and chapters for existing chapters. At this point, I’m pretty sure that I’ve put all of those types of stories into a semi-permanent hiatus. I don’t like that, but I just don’t know what to write anymore.
In return for pretty much losing my comedic flair, I now find it much easier (and more enjoyable) to write longer, slower-paced adventure stories with a ton of worldbuilding.
I can relate quite a bit to Twilight Sparkle. Out of everyone I know, I’m the only person who believes that digging out your parents’ old college textbooks from storage to read is a normal thing. I get bored waaaay too easily.
Come to think of it, “Gadget” from my Lab Horse series is in a way sort of a genderswapped age-regressed self-insert, because her personality and thoughts are based off of myself from around 5th-6th grade. Not that that was very far away either, considering how that’s just a few years ago. Either way, she’s basically got the same thought patterns, but is generally less mature.
