    Some thoughts. Your opinions?

It was midway through Season Three when I wrote the last few chapters of Isaac's Storm. Since then, show canon has pretty much overwritten a great majority of the concepts I wanted to explore with the story. Primarily, I refer to Isaac's 'base of operations' in Golden Oaks Library being sort of completely obliterated by Tirek, Twilight becoming official royalty and thus bypassing some of

    HOKAY SO

... maybe some motivation for writing once more has come to me. Poke me mercilessly until I begin to write more.

BRONYCON WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I'll be there for every Bronycon in the future no matter what happens, it's priority number one. Period.

    And that's about all. CHEERS

Dusting off the ole user page, activity ahoy!

It's been a long time since I updated anything on here! January, to be exact, since the last indication that my two rambling tales of misadventure and nonsense were not utterly dead in the water. Fear not, loyal tiny handful of readers! I am still writing, albeit slowly with a few setbacks. Namely, the S3 finale's momentous ascension that either obliterated nearly every fanfic yet written, or

Authors Notes: Isaac's Storm, Chapter 7 - Of Portals and People

I have a lot of notes to make about this chapter - as it's quite possibly the most important chapter in the back-story section of Isaac's Storm - so I'm making a blog entry rather than trying to cram everything in the authors' notes section.

    WELP! Here goes nothing.

I'm in the process of formatting the first three chapters of Isaac's Storm to post here. They've been up for over a year on Fanfiction.net, but I wanted to re-write them before posting them here. However, in the last year I have not done so, and thus for now I'm posting the raw first edition of the story here. Expect bad paragraph spacing and bad story pacing, among other amateur mistakes. I

Well now. · 12:23am Oct 9th, 2012

It took forever but I finally have an account here.

I came here for two reasons: To be able to comment on - and keep track of via favorites - my favorite fics, and to post a story that's been floating around in my head for a year and a half. Well, it's not written yet, but I'm making some progress. The first three chapters are up as "Isaac's Storm" on Fanfiction.net, but I'm about to do a total rewrite from the ground up before posting it here to Fimfiction.

See, I started the fic way back in June 2011, having just been in the fandom for a few weeks and having read just one or two fics. Prior to Isaac's Storm, I hadn't ever attempted to write a fanfic in my entire life, and thus my lack of experience shows in the 3 chapters I have. Furthermore, I was barely familiar with the show or the fandom when I started writing, and after well over a year I'm ready to re-start the story with all I've learned. Not to mention, the things that went on in Season Two, which was but a strong rumor when I started the fic way back when.

In short, it's a HIE fic with action, adventure, war, humor, suspense, exploration, character development, and just about everything including the kitchen sink. It's going to be near 100,000 words when completed, probably significantly more, but that's going to be a LONG time off. See, I realize that HIE fics are already considered rather low in the fanfiction world, and they have to be extremely good to be considered a good fic, so I have to find some prereaders and accumulate a lot of feedback so I can improve enough to bring the story in my head to life. In the coming days I'll try to have the beginning rewritten and posted here for feedback and critique, which will help shape the future of the tale. Watch this space!

(And yes, if anyone actually happens to stumble across this page, I am the same EquusStorm/Horsesnhurricanes that's nearly everywhere all across the Internets. Weather, tall trees, death metal, and roller coasters ftw, Flitter is best pony.)
