    UPDATE: "Brink" Online

...well, this is just embarrassing. Here, I figured that I'd have to wait a day or two until my story got approved by a moderator. I click "submit", and there's an auto-approval button?! I put myself through all that mental hype for nothing. I want a refund! :flutterrage:

Anyway, it looks like the story "Brink" is up sooner than expected. Enjoy.

UPDATE: New Story On The Way

Hello, folks. I probably should've done this a while back, but I wasn't sure if I was gonna stick with the story or allow a brief burst of emotion to power me through it. Good news: I'm sticking with it to the end.

    "Reaching the Absolute" Reception

Well, it's hard to not say I'm kinda disappointed with how reception of "Reaching the Absolute" turned out. Looking back on it, I can't help but be a little negative of it myself. The horror bit of it seemed too short, and the whole story seems like a big case of shock value more than actual horror. [facepalm] Should've read it over a little bit more before I sent it off.

Intro to Ossith; First Story Cast · 6:52pm Jun 25th, 2017

It's times like this that I wish I was better at improv...

So! Hello, bronies and non-bronies alike. Welcome to my user page. The name I commonly go by is Ossith - a name I'll (hopefully) be sticking with for a good, long while. I may be new to the site of FIMFiction, but I'm not new to the concept of writing and literature. It's something I've grown up with, reading poems and books and whatever else. I find that reading stimulates the imagination, takes you to a whole new world far beyond the one we currently live in. A chance for creativity, a chance for escape... it's a very reliable thing to have in existence. There have been many authors that have made outstanding stories, and hopefully, I will be able to join them in that hall of fame.

I focus primarily on writing horror stories. Don't be surprised if you find the majority of my fics to be rated M for "macabre"; I'd lower it to a T, but paranoia keeps me from doing so. There are some stories that actually will be suitable for a T-rating, some with maybe even happy endings. It all depends whether or not I'm in the mood to see my favorite characters suffer gruesome and horrific fates. Despite my own focus in writing, I read and occasionally review stories of all kinds. I do my best to be as detailed and honest when I write down a review, so I wouldn't bat an eyelash if I was you and happened to see an overly long review from yours truly. That's me trying my best to lend a good word or two. I encourage the same respect to be given to me, but don't be too hostile or nasty about it; there's a fine line between brutal honesty and flaming, after all.

Reaching the Absolute will be the first story I post onto FIMFiction. It features an alternate scenario between Twilight, Starlight and Spike, where Starlight reacts in a much different way than she did in canon. It took me two weeks to complete it, with the majority of that time scribbling the rough draft in a notebook during the break hours of work. I hope that work is shown to you in full once it has been introduced onto the site. Many more stories will follow.

That is all, for now. Enjoy your stay.

EDIT: Conveniently enough, not too long after I posted this blog, Reaching the Absolute was approved. Thank the admins for making my wait shorter than anticipated.
