June Stories · 2:56am Jun 1st, 2017

After talking to a friend on Discord, I discovered that I was leaving a lot of people "out of the loop" so to speak when it comes to monthly stories.

So, how do I decide what stories will be written and when? Well, I take the order I did the chapters the previous month, and rearrange them according to Random.org. This means it is completely random each and every time. Hooray for entropy!

So this month I rolled the mystic dice, and got this as the order:

A Stallion Contract
A Twisting Tale
Brain, Brawns, and a Lot of Ponies
Mistress' Magic
A Twisting Tale

So, first weekend I will write A Stallion Contract and A Twisting Tale. Second weekend will be Brain, Brawns, and a Lot of Ponies and Mistress' Magic. The last of the bunch will be A Twisting Tale. Note: These days do not reflect the release times of the chapters; I frequently hold a chapter from the weekend to cover weeks I don't have enough done to make a good Welcome to Thestralia update.

As for weekly chapters, my weekly rotation is actually shown on my user page. The irregular stories (example being Trixie's Commitment) are generally written in the weekends of the second half of the month.

And the stories you update on your own time (like Trixie's Commitment) are just done whenever you aren't spending time working on either the monthly commissioned ones or the weekly ones, correct?

4554458 As per the blog:

The irregular stories (example being Trixie's Commitment) are generally written in the weekends of the second half of the month.

4554459 Huh...
Somehow I missed that sentence when I read it...
I don't know how, but I did... :facehoof:
