Increased Security at Brony Conventions and Comic Conventions · 6:05pm May 28th, 2017
After the events with Jason David Frank at Phoenix Comic Con this weekend, I for one believe that every convention of any kind needs to improve their security measures. Earlier this year, there was a threat made against Whinny City Pony Con in Chicago by a 15 year old gang member and now this?
Yes, I know Comic Cons are meant for people to have fun and express their creativity like myself, however, safety and security should be above all else for attendees, special guests and staff, period.
What kind of measures?
Well, for one, security checks for anyone who is trying to smuggle real weapons in. No one knows who these people are planning to do and such and for that matter, ALL weapons, real or fake, need to be banned from cons, plain and simple!
Secondly, if you see something at a convention, say something! Don't ignore it and alert a police officer or a member of security staff. With our world in the gutter, the last thing anyone would want is a tragedy involving a comic con.
The goal of any convention is to have fun. But, security and safety needs to take top priority. Well, let's have Tommy Oliver himself finish off this statement:
Well said, brother.
cool
I agree with you
What happened to Jason David Frank? Was he killed!?
4635369. No, he is alive.
4635382
(sighs in relief) That's good. What happened, then?
4635424 Well, as far as I know, the guy was caught before coming into the convention. Lucky he was caught because he was intending to kill whoever stood in his way of reaching his goal of killing Jason David Frank.

Why's he want to kill him?
4636164 It's simply this: he has nothing else better to do with his life.
