Starlight Glimmer is a former villain who has appeared quite frequently in recent seasons. Some people think that Starlight Glimmer will become the new main character. The question is should that happen? For Lily Peet the obvious answer is no. Even though Lily Peet is a great reviewer I have different opinions on Starlight.
Starlight wasn't that good of a villain. She was okay, but not very memorable. However in season 6 she became 1 of the show's best characters. Now she's a well written and interesting character. She has helped make the show more interesting. The show could use someone like her to make the main cast more exciting.
In her appearances in season 6 she was a good hero. The episodes that star her are good. In fact the show should have more Starlight episodes. In the end of season 6 she prove how heroic she has become by saving everybody from Queen Chrysalis. In addition to all of that Starlight Glimmer is 1 of the show's cutest characters.
Overall making Starlight a main character seems like a weird idea considering that she isn't in the first 4 seasons, but I think that she should become a main character.
