HISHE Offically starts! · 6:25pm May 17th, 2017
HELLO EVERYBRONY!
So, yesterday I uploaded the first entry of the series: How Sunset of time Should Have Ended.
And since working on it was a lot of fun, not to mention it had a very warm response, I decided to officially begin my blog series: How It Should Have Ended.
Where I'll replace the "It" with the title of the fanfic I'm going to make fun of, but I guess that was obvious.
From here below I'll explain how often, how, and which stories will be analyzed. And how I'm going to organize them.
So, I'll try to make this a weekly appointment. Every Tuesday I'll upload a new HISHE... or that's the intention, at least.
All the entries are going to be nothing but jokes about the plot of the MLP fanfiction I read. Some may point out a minor issue, or some may simply complain about a cliche used by the author. And some could actually be a more or less serious suggestion regards how the story should have ended. The golden rule will be: I will do it as long as I think it's funny.
Does it mean that I'm going to analyze only flawed stories?
No.
Because every story has its flaws, just like every story has its sins. And also because I don't think it's funny to mock a story that nobody likes.
This is a satire. Not a review.
So, which kind of stories am I going after?
Well, here comes my main preoccupation. If I want to make a worth length entry, I need a worth length fanfic. To give you an example: Sunset of time had 230k words, and I wrote a 3k entry out of it.
But it's not just a matter of length, it's also a matter of how many issues I find in the plot and excpecially how many jokes I can make out of them. It will be easier to do with some stories than with others.
Every entry is going to have two tags: The first tag will be 'HISHE', the second tag will be the title of the original story.
And I think I've explained everything. Now we'll see how well this will go.
See you next Tuesday with: How My Little Dashie Should Have Ended.
