Chapter Seven: Essayons (Update) · 3:07pm May 8th, 2017

Hey there folks, think I've figured out the blog system instead of just posting everything to my comments section so let's see how this madness goes.

Right now it's May 8 2017, been over a week since I posted Chapter 6 and the Intermission. Might be another week or two before Chapter 7 comes out. Mostly of college finals being hard things, who thought?

Chapter naming scheme is shifting for this arc from Latin to French due to their trip to Canterlot.

Chapter 7 delays might also be motivated because...let's be frank the first Arc is okay but it could use some cleaning up. Grammar needs a few once overs along with characterisation for the first few chapters. It gets better as it goes, but currently Chapter 2/3/4 are big offenders when it comes to little things.

Chapter 1 was actually reviewed pretty extensive by a few folks recently if no one could tell. They gave me a lot of thoughts and opinions that led to some changes in it. The most significant being, there isn't that M-14 info dump at the start.

Looking back on it, none of the characters ever actually recited or even thought the mantra so it doesn't make sense for Cantwell to have said 'IT WAS LIKE AN IDOL TO US HUR HUR HUR.'

Another big change in Chapter 1 is that right out of the gate I'm hinting at Cantwell's heritage as opposed to it coming out of the blue in Chapter 2 like he's a token character because of it.

Little edits to DuPont, King, Marshal, and Byrd are there too, just not as obvious as Cantwell using Yiddish in the first line of the preface.
