4513096 That sounds good. I just read through it, admittedly not super thoroughly, and I already really like the formula of how you've written it. Tells you enough about the background lore of the world to make it real, leaving the rest to the DM, and it goes into very good detail about what kinda characters you can make. Races, Careers(I'm assuming the classes) are listed in alphabetical order which makes it very easy to look through the list to find what you want. And this next part is more me and experiences with D&D books, but I'm so happy that you listed the abilities and spells after the classes. I, HATE, when the spells are at the absolute end of the book. And right after that is the equipment, which details them well.

All in all, a very well written manual. One or two spelling errors, but that's minor.

I'd be super up for a beta test of this.

OK guys, with the feedback you provided I am already working on the Gdocs, finished the first CS, working with the suggestions given here are the changes:

Included Sphinxes and Minotaurs
Included new religions on some of the races
Included Monk Career, with its background and new set of abilities (WIP)
Included new weapons and edges for the monk (WIP)
Added the basic stats, HP and starting stats for the races
Working wih the modifiers on the careers for the Fortitude/will/reflex chart on the CS (WIP)

So here is the monk stuff i sent cause I can't use the gdoc so every one can see what I got
Putting forth a true monk class. And new world location idea.
Monk
Prerequisites: study at one of the three schools of the Niaghpon Islands, Tempest shrine island on the mountain of the eternal storm (Pegasus pony or winged races), Great Stone Monastery hidden in mystical caverns that connect the island chain (earth ponies, and the like), The temple archives of the void hidden beyond the world in fields of red grass (Unicorns and other magic capable races).

-Kung Fu. each school has a set style of unarmed combat that they must master before anything else.
-School weapons. each has a weapon stile that they favor and when ushering these they can preform special technics to divesting effect.
-School ki magic mastery. Harnessing the ki in there bodies and combining it with their natural magic they can manipulate it in different ways then normally possible.
-purity of body. Monks training make them incredibly durable of body and will. Some even able to continue fighting long after others would have collapsed to their wounds.
-will that can't brake. A strong body is nothing with a week mind so they focus mentally as much as they train. This gives them a strong will and in some cases allows them to fight mind effects.

School signature ki magics, Tempest monks walk on water generate lighting and manipulate weather with out touching clouds, Great Stone monks can surf the ground, shape it move through it, see through vibrations (it's earth bending if you seen avatar), Void monks can cast spells with out horns glowing, turn invisible, channel magic through their bodies and imbue it in items and defy gravity.

School weapons, Tempest school, forked spear, twin flying swords, giant fan, wing blades, and nine link bar, Great Stone, Full Blade, Kanabo, twin war hammers, and meteor hammer. Void school, iron brush, twin iron fans, monk ring staff, naganita and nunchucks

The main schools are hidden, the tempest one is on a island on top of a mountain that it's self a island on lake with a class five hurricane around the mountain year round. The great stone is in the deepest part of the mystic caverns witch them selves are miles of underground caves and lava tubes from when the islands formed. And the school it's self is carved in a giant stalagtight over a lake of lava. The last school can only be reached from the red plains a place on one island that has seen so much battle the grass has turned red from the amount of blood smoked in to the ground. But the school it's self is in a pocket dimension that can only be reach from that field and only by a secret way. The dangerous and hard to reach location of the schools is a test so only those with the will to complete the training can reach them.

As to Niaghpon it has two other job options that we could add in if you like ninja and samurai. The nation is divided in to five mane islands and a dozen smaller ones all connected by the mystic caverns witch are like ever free and the cave of horrors rolled in to one giant cave system so big it has mushroom forests, lakes and mountains in it. It's like a pony version of the under dark.

Another race idea

Bat ponies/thershal
Cause race abilty of Pegasus plus echo location and low light vision, but day lightness on bright days or harsh light. Racial item sunglasses.

4514092 ok I will take all this and make it work for the RPG, now I need to get this edges running and then implementing them on the rulebook, If you can do those like I did on the majority of the rulebook is a HUGE help, I am doing right now the other edges on the classes, and there is still A LOT to cover, also what do you think on each job having influence on the Will/Fortitude/Reflex table ?

What is the system based off of?

when on the ground or cloud or standing on water unarmed they get 4 attacks two from forelimbs and one for each wing.
Lvl 2
When armed on the ground or cloud or standing on water they can attack with wings or wing blades
Lvl 3
Lighting blow unarmed attacks can add lightning damage to the blow.
Lvl 4
Can use the the stile while in flight
Master
They can toss or pull a foe in to the Air while in the air the can strike a foe with up to 7 attacks (7 unarmed strikes forlimbs hind legs wings and tail.) Two 'hand' weapons reduce it to six attacks, dual weapons and wing blades do not lower the attack but only the unarmed attacks can used the lightning blow effect.

Stone strike adds will and fortitude to damage roll for unarmed strike.
Lvl 2
Two strikes as one sacrifice a second attack to strike with two unarmed attacks as one. Can buck/kick with hind limbs instead of using a weapon or forlimbs as a unarmed attack
Lvl 3
Strength of the mountain double your strength modifier by giving up your moment this turn
Lvl 4
Giants step performs a ground stomp that dose a shock wave through the ground that shatters the ground making it hazardous terrain and trip chance 20% when moving more then five feet in effected area. Are of effect 10 foot raidices plus 5 feet for ever 2 points of strength modifier (not score) so strength modifier of 6 the are is 10 +15 for total of 25 feet
Master
One with the earth, can not be tripped or move half all damage taken between there last turn and next attack can be added to there next unarmed attack.

Void school still soul style (hardest to write for!)
Lvl 1
When attacked they can make a reflex check to dodge attacks
Lvl 2
Swift strike on attack of opportunity they get two attacks.
Lvl 3
Soul and body as one, Applies wisdom and intellect modifiers to hit attempts on there attack instead of strength
Lvl 4
Can imbue spells in to first unarmed attack in a turn without prep (must make focus check before attack, failed check spell fizzle harmlessly)
Master
Masters of void exits between worlds suffer no movement penalty and have a 30% chance to have attacks pass through them. Once per day the can phase through solid matter at will, add Windom and intellect modifiers to damage plus strength. Can use and move objects with there mind with out actually using levitation magic ignores anti magic effects for the skill only, Unicorn horns don't glow while they do this.

Also for idea behind the great stone school is well her as it's master only with a more pony name (Master Topographia Bell Fang)

I am thinking of it as I write but monk skills at master well I played monks in dnd and pathfinder monk is something that are powerful and different. And scary as hell when used properly.

4514294 I'm actually running a monk in a campaign. I nat 20'd a gorgon, while aiming for the head, with a flurry of blows. Actually, now that I think about it, Paladins are just as OP in a different way, what with the holy avenger and other abilities.

4514295 except everyone hates palidens cause they so up tight. I mean ugh I'd rather play the nurffed samurai in complete warrior books.
