I didn't think I'd start writing a Blog about any story I posted here really. Maybe a witty comment or two in AN's but I'm pleasently shocked! Lots of folks seem to be really enjoying my story The Black Digi-Knight so I wanted to put a few thoughts down here instead of clogging the comments or an AN. Specifically, this first ever blog is about why I'm taking so long to post the next chapter.
In short? I'm busy at work and busy being too precise in my writing.
Lemme explain for those wanting more than that. 
I'm an audio engineer and work most nights at the music hall I work for. Some nights I'm either mixing a band or at least setting them up and making sure things work for guest engineers to use our system. Those nights, the latter, do give me more time to write, but then it comes down to gaming vs writing. I'm guilty of easily spacing out on a game to let my brain relax from the stress of work and life. However while that was why the previous few chapters might have been delayed, this one is from simply being too good at my job...of writing.
Question for you all. How long do you believe the events in the episode Sweet and Elite went on for? More than a few days certainly as evidenced by Rarity spending 'the week' in Canterlot as is the episode's opening premise. But the week could easily be anywhere between 7 days to only 3 or so. Just enough time for her to spend a day shopping, a day gallavanting around with the elite, and then Twilight's Birthday party and conclusion. With a day to arrive and day to leave that could either be 3 or 5 right there. In order to resolve my next chapter however, I had to legtimately research all the events of that episode. Maybe I'm spoiling things a bit here, but I don't think you'll all know what exactly I'm doing until you read it. Congrats to those who read this though.
This research eventually led to more research on another aspect of the chapter, and then another, and then another! Then a bit of writer's block hit in regards of how to put this all together without massively cluttering the chapter with exposition, and thus we come to my delay in posting the new chapter. Thankfully as of this post I have hit a good stride and narrative I feel, but again I wanted to apologize with an explanation and tease. I'm too in love with this story and it's adventure to ever give it up, and I'll try to keep a steady pace/post a meaty enough chapter to sate all your appetites between each. With luck this chapter will be posted within the week, who knows!?

Wow, you really are devoted to making sure the timeline is correct. I like that! And you said within the week, but by saying that you jinxed yourself. Something is gonna happen!
