Feel lonely? Need an editor? A proofreader? Somebody to talk to? Write me. I've been detached from this fandom, I want to make up for it.

    Small update

    Hello everybrony!

So, two months ago I posted a blog and announced my comeback. What did I do in the meantime?

Well, I actually got some fanfics done.

    Back alright, back again...

    What a crazy year, huh?

TL;DR: I'm about to point what I scumbag I am for leaving the fandom (also my readers, and the writers I'm helping) without a care in the world.
    Seriously, I'm sorry.

    Just rambling... also, new update

So, I finally published that damn Chapter 9. Other pain is out for all Sunset fans.

Also, I'm liking S9 a lot up till now. And Rainbow Roadtrip is on youtube.
    ...

I just hope it won't be another two years of hyatus.
I have a ton to do.

This chapter is a turning point. Both the best and the worst I've written so far. And there's much more to reach next.

    Continuing an "old" story.

    Hello everybrony.:pinkiehappy:
So, I've finally found a way to be consistent again (300 words per day average, for now) and now I'm set on continuing my work with Other.

HELLO EVERYBRONY!

I have a lot of stuff to talk about this month.

First of all, for those who are waiting for Other's eight chapter, I just sent the draft to my editors so I'm going to upload soon.
Next, I was considering my activity on this website...

And I realized I'm not doing enough for this fandom. I put a lot of effort into writing my stories and I'm very happy to help other MLP fans with their works, but that's just it. I want to be more active. To do more things.

Therefore, I decided I'll start a periodic entry. What is it going to be about?

...

I don't know it, yet. But I do have a couple of ideas.

And I know what I'm going to try first: HISHE (How It Should Have Ended). Basically, I'm going to pick some fanfics from the website and then I'll do the same thing that the homonym YouTube channel does. And my first entry is going to be...

-drumroll-

Hou Sunset of Time should have ended.

I just hope Albinocorn will like it. Or, at least, not hate it.

And I guess nothing else happened during this month since I didn't upload anything except for "Worst sister".

Sigh... It has almost been a full year and I still barely manage to write 10k every month.
Let's talk about my writing. Usually, I first write all the dialogue of a chapter and only then I start describing what happens.
I do this because writing dialogue is easier and faster, and I hope that's gonna help me later. But it also can be quite pressing and frustrating later.
Do you think that's a good method?

Anyway, I promise I'm going to update something soon. Other for sure, but maybe something else as well.

Peace.

Usually, I first write all the dialogue of a chapter and only then I start describing what happens.

I've thought about doing this. I also have a much easier time with dialogue, and it's easily my favorite thing to write. Sometimes I get the feeling that it'd be better to have a skeleton of the chapter with only dialogue and rough instructions for what to write for actions later, but I kinda assume it'll kill my drive to write once the dialogue is done. I feel like it's easier (for me, anyway) to spread the chore of writing actions out as I'm writing the chapter, rather than trying to do it all at once. It's like, I don't really care for the crust on sandwiches, but I'll just eat it as I go because if I ate only the center part that I liked, I wouldn't want to go back and eat the entire crust.

That's just my thoughts though, and working with many different writers has taught me that no one seems to write the exact same way. What I would recommend is trying to write everything – dialogue, narration, and actions – for a section (doesn't need to even be a full chapter) and then seeing if that works well for you. If so cool; if not, at least you'll know for sure.
