This analysis is just my personal opinion on the work of Opium4TmassS, not a review. Is not intended to be an exhaustive or definitive analysis of his work. This analysis may contain spoilers from his works.

Signing on September 30, 2015 on the page, Opium4TmassS would start publishing his stories almost immediately. Without success however, since many of his initial stories wouldn't be finished, have mixed and even unknown results to the audience (2 of these stories are still blocked). It wouldn't be until the following year when he would begin to be seen by the public.

Killer of Six: Set in a dystopic future, the story tell us about Twilight hunting the rest of her friends by orders of Celestia. It has good pacing and each conversation between Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 is different and feels natural. However, the story is very predictable because of the source material (Blade Runner) and it can be hard to follow for some readers. With this in mind, I read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and I can say it follows the story really well. The ending represented the choices everyone takes in their lives.

After this dramatic adventure, he later decided to do the complete opposite.

Lady Trixie and the Black Knight: Heavily inspired by middle age folklore and with comedy as the main genre, it follows Trixie and the motherfucker himself Sir William De Molay. The story has a lot of absurd humor and there are plenty of shenanigans those two can get into and it could honestly be fun to see just what that might be, as well as an abrupt ending. While a minor work in his resume, the author clearly knew how to guide a story set in a different time. It later had a sequel, Sir William and the Broken Alicorn, which is still incomplete to this day.

Liquid Euphoria: Both a sequel and aftermath to Killer of Six, this time focusing more on Celestia. There's no much to say about this one, since many of the arguments said in the original story are applicable here. And in his own words.

I wrote this one when I was kinda burnt out.

With the criticism towards his grammar and the confusing plotlines he had written, Opium4TmassS needed a rest of the world. He needed time to think and focus, time to plan for his next story, but he was searching for something different he hasn't done before. And some months after his previous entries, he gave the world his best story.

Why I stopped watching My Little Pony: The first entry of a saga very similar to Five Night's at Freddy's, but without the pretentiousness of said videogame. Reads like a Creepypasta and in certain ways, it's a great criticism towards the way companies treat their spectators. Alicia Garcia is easily one of the best human characters in the MLP fandom.

This story alone let him become more recognizable in the fandom. And with the success of WISWMLP, he decided to extend this mini universe. So, if the first entry was Five Night's at Freddy's, the next one had to be CSI.

Flutterschmooze: This is the point where the author said one important thing about this universe: My Little Pony never aired here, which meant many more madness and more twists. The format the story is written is creative to say the least, like it was a real police crime. But many of the people who criticised his previous stories for being lost came back... and they had reason. The story is hard to follow and not many details are given to us. Opium4TmassS promised us to explain more of this details. His profile page shows this as his most popular story, but this is far from that title.

How to Play with the Ponies: Written like a real creepypasta (clearly taking inspiration from Bloody Mary), it has its suspense, but the truth is that it felt like a minor work.

After a lot of previews done in his blog and with the help of his friend MisterNick, his masterpiece was ready to be published.

The Truth Behind My Little Pony: This was the most anticipated story in his site, and with all the hype it had and all the anticipation it built... I didn't like it that much. The plot is hard to understand and follow, some of the characters are not that familiar to me and some of the events popped out from nowhere, even if I read the previous works. There are some good aspects like turning the show into a horror film and the interactions between characters, though.

Although TTBMLP was a success and it became the most well known story of the author, it didn't reach the numbers expected. Opium4TmassS needed, once more, a time to rest. But now this was more difficult to do. During the production of TTBMLP, TheLostNarrator did readings of some of his works. This helped him to raise his image. He finally achieved to be famous and became one of the most well known darkfic writers in the site, but this time he went away.

When he finally came back, he decided to take things more calmed. He continued doing more stories related to his MLP universe, one of them was a twist in a topic assumed by the fanbase.

Too Human: We all know Lyra likes humans, but what if there was an actual cult where Discord was the leader and Lyra had to escape from it? That's the premise of this story that is hard to follow (some things never change), but this has better pacing than some of his previous works and has some originality in the concept.

Opium4TmassS is having another rest right now and, as he says:

For a short period I am stepping away from the series to catch my breath and work on a few other projects. It won't be long I promise, as I can already feel the urge to travel down the dark road again. More stories are calling out to me wanting to be written. I hope you will join me again on that journey to the rotten center of it all.

Many people compare his work with Naturalbornderpy (another well known darkfic writer in the site) and, although it's too soon to get to that comparison, I can see why. All I can say is that I'm waiting for another creepy story done by him, heavily inspired by the most dark stories known by man.

Some recurring images:

-Medieval or futuristic setting.
-Creepy atmosphere.
-Breaking the fourth wall as part of interaction.
-Loss of the notion of time.
-Use of humans as a resource to position the viewer in the story.
-My Little Pony as a horror show, very similar to Five Nights at Freddy's.
-Human extermination.
-Quotes in the story description, with Franz Kafka as the most frequent author.
