Hey guys, I sang for you guys again. This time, it is a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic song!
I hope you guys enjoy this. I practiced for a considerably longer period of time than either of my last two attempts at singing. Let me know if you have noticed any improvements, if there are any ways I can make additional improvements to my singing skill, and whether or not you have enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed singing this song, as 'Changeling can Change' is a personal favorite of mine, although there are several other favorites that are right up there with it.
'Bats' will be the next song I sing from the show; that ought to be real fun to sing! 
But for the mean time, there is this one to enjoy, if you can. If not, I apologize and will strive for a better performance next time.
Markedly more melodic this time around. Pitch was better. Diction was better.
Once thing I'm really glad about is that you definitely considered the kind of intensity this song is meant to have. It's not a showstopping loud piece but a stern and heartfelt plea from a character who doesn't always get to speak up. Your sensitivity to that here is present. I know people who'd belt this out like a battlecry just because it's their favorite song. Still others might try to give it sincerity but fall short. Your version here, while still technically not perfect, is rich in that sincerity. And that's where the art is. That's where music goes from arranged sound to an expression.

Hey, singing in fifths is technically harmonization.
It did sound a little odd, but I haven't heard the song in months, so I couldn't tell you. I was going off the instruments to judge your pitch, and I was listening for being in key. Aw well. Maybe you should consider choir opportunities if your natural tendency is to harmonize.

I'm not so much as interested in that as I am in doing my song eventually. There are other opportunities that I would like to partake in, however, such as furthering the development of my storytelling, engineering, and my chess skill.
I haven't done any chess videos on my new channel yet, although I used to play it on my old channel a lot and it was the most well received playlist out of all my videos. I think it got maybe 50% of my views and only comprised 10% of my old channel.

To answer your earlier question, though, about 'Bats' is that yes, I will be singing every part. And I'll give myself ample preparation time to make each one distinct while still carrying the melody.

Well, in my practices, it doesn't seem that hard for me to harmonize with myself, so it seems like a viable option for me to do that. I was considering doing it like that before you even mentioned it.
As for the chess tidbit, we have not discussed it before. How novice are you talking? Before I took a hiatus, I believe I was around 1400 ELO on one of the chess pub sites that I frequented.

Ah, then I'll definitely have to play a game for you. Although I don't really have a mastery of the opening game. Where I shine has always been on the middle and end game. I have really killer moves that make people forfeit the game. I am not afraid of sacking my queen to deliver the final blow to the king's position. It's quite exquisite, truth be told.
By the way, after processing your earlier question I noticed something in the way you asked me...Were you.. Were you considering a duo version of 'Bats' with me? If that was what you wanted, I'd have to practice longer than a week or two on it most likely.

I'm not that good at judging singing, nor singing myself. I always sound pretty bad. 
At least I'm not tone-deaf. But even I, shower-singer who might break people's eardrums, know that this was amazing. 
You gave it the real feels, the sincerity. Something that many people cannot do. Something I cannot do without sounding horrible.

A little more than a month ago, I sounded pretty bad. Like...really, really, amazingly bad. I couldn't carry a tune, my pitch was all over the place.
This one not so much. I held the tune just fine, and the pitch was almost in line. Just a little lower, and I think it would have been good. However, I believe there are still some parts where I felt a little weak where I could have been stronger; with some more practice, I could polish this up quite nicely.
But thank you for the vote of confidence. This is definitely a step in the right direction for me, and I intend to outshine this cover with the next cover by just as much as this one outshined the last.

I had one weird game against the computer program at a moderate difficulty. It was a relatively swift one for me. We had an irregular formation in the beginning. I knocked down his queen and made it to his back row with mine safely, and he forfeited even though I though he had plenty of ways to refute.
My best games tend to occur when I trade queens, but I've played half my games against computers with customized difficulty, so I'm likely not as smart playing against humans.
I didn't, but I was simply wondering if you might have been duoing with a guest.
If I had time, I might volunteer for something like that, though.
