So here's the big issue · 5:47am Apr 8th, 2017
The way I set up the story, I've written myself into a corner from the start. By leaving Ace alive in the One Piece universe, he'll obviously want to go back, especially since some of the last things he heard was about Teach going after Luffy. I had wanted to have this be multiple arcs long, have him give a go at other villains or maybe intro some militia or uprising or stuff, like I said not much thought past the first chapters. Anyway, with him wanting to go back to save Luffy I don't think any of that would happen. So I might have to go back and redo the beginning and maybe futz with the other chapters too. I like how it's panned out so far but I can't find a way to move forward, but this is also like one of the only stories for Ace that doesn't pick up at Marineford. sigh I dunno what Ima do but, gotta do something, still not calling it quits for what it's worth this far into this wait. I have an idea for a start that takes place at Marineford but it'd be a bit of a stretch, anyway sorry that I haven't had anything to show for all these months. I see, glad you ain't giving up on this fic, I've read many good fics that have ended up getting cancelled, but I can see why you wrote yourself into a corner and how Ace wants to save Luffy, starting at Marineford would make sense, perhaps you could Shanks and crew show up just in time to prevent Ace's death at the hands of Akainu or something, I'm also a fairly good photoshopper, I could make you a new cover art if you want
