So I recently purchased the first Dark Souls game offa Ebay, and good lawdy lawdy I am in love with this game. The story, the graphics and scenery, the aggravation even makes this game so much fun! I gotta say, its living up to the hype I've had for it.
And I started out playing as a chick, named Ana who was a knight. I had done pretty good so far, farming souls in Undead Burg, found a big ass sword. The Zwilhander and I loved having to struggle, for once XD
But here's the thing... I had gotten tired, so I went to a bonfire and rested there - because I didn't know how to save appropriately - and then turned off the system...
Woke up...
My save file is gone... all the shit I spent about six hours doing is gone...
So...
Yeah...

Thats dark souls for yeah, makes you grind for hours just to lose it all..........but what do i know i have never played dark souls!
I have anger management issues anyways, no way in hell am I playing Dark Souls or Bloodborne.

Dark Souls saves after pretty much everything you do. If you sit down at a bonfire, you could wait 5 seconds and then turn the game off, because chances are it's saved. Alternatively, you could kill one of the trash mobs in the Undead Burg or something and wait and it will save. Alternatively, you could take 3 steps. The way to exit is via the pause menu. If you don't exit like that(rage quitting), it will tell you that you saved the game incorrectly and it might have lost data.
Side note, I envy you a first time through a souls game. Enjoy it, cursed undead.

4453188 Yep. You know, when the idea making this story with Scotch Tape, I was actually afraid that I display her wrong in her personality and such. But I never thought that Somber would be so... easy going. When I asked him in a PM for permission to use her, Somber just replied that it dosen't matter for him how I diplay her or how much canon it is to his story, main thing is I have fun writing it

Well, you're in... Firelink I imagine, look around the area, you'll find some decent goodies hidden around. And looking forward towards the giant cliff face in front of you, go right and you'll find a stairway leading up to Undead Burg.
It's easy to go from there... but surviving is another story 8D
