I didn't get to sit down for about six hours. I have now melted and become one with my spinny chair now that day 1 is over.
Do you know how slow the wifi is when there's one network that 30,000+ people are all connected to?! The transfer speed was a solid 42kbps.
A lot of teams were actually so unprepared that they came to our team for help since we had a pile of spare parts just sitting in the open.
The teams were all trading buttons. Taking into account that this is the southwest/midwest regionals, I now have a suit of armor made out of nothing but team buttons.
