Holy crap, two years already? · 6:00am Feb 24th, 2017
So two years have passed since I started writing Getting Back to Good, this one I feel is my baby, I worked harder on this one than my other ones. I have a couple gifts in store for you the first one is some behind the scenes stuff like inspirations, old ideas, and whatever else I feel like sharing.
- Originally, P.B. in this story was going to either be bi-polar, schizophrenic, or have multiple personality disorder. While I know people with those disabilities, I felt like I couldn't do it properly and ended up be a mix of hormones, trauma, and a bit of PTSD in later chapters.
- Him being diabetic is still a thing and is mentioned here and there still. I just stopped focusing on it because it got repetitive and uninteresting. He's diabetic because I'm borderline/ hypoglycemic.
- Getting Back to Good sprouted after I went dramatic with LaAoPB. Other influences were music and letting my mind run wild on a story like Sunset's about redemption and moving on.
-Originally Moondancer or Trixie was going to hook up with P.B., the reason for the change? He probably would have been driven insane by them like I would have.
-If you didn't get it through out the story, P.B. and Luna have this relationship where they help each other out, even if they don't know it. This was intentional.
- Peanut Butter is an Autumn and a Winter. Dark colors are his thing and it looks best on him, like me.
- Originally, Blueblood was going to give P.B. tomatoes to poison him and cause an allergic reaction. This was changed after listening to a song from an anime that stuck with me and got me thinking that Blueblood is much more dramatic and thought he would try to show off how powerful he really is and lose all reason due to his anger and hate towards someone who denies him praise.
- How did I do the Nightmare Moon stuff for EQG? I somewhat explained it in the story, but there is more to explain soon.
- My policy with the movies and this story is that this story will only talk about what happened in the movies, but will not interact with them.
- Legend of Everfree will be mentioned in Turning Back the Clock.
- Getting Back to Good is part of a trilogy. Getting Back to Good, Turning Back the Clock, and The Fall.
- Getting Back to good will get a title card and I MIGHT release Turning Back the Clock and its first chapter early.
The last two, are the other gifts. With this story about to come to a close hopefully this year I'm glad that my readers joined me on this ride and I hope you will join me for the other two parts as well. Here's to many more.
