Happened to read a Winningverse fic on the way to sleep yesterday evening.
Sometime in the night, consequentially, my brain concluded that somewhere in the history of the Kicker clan, probably during a hypothetical war with an equally hypothetical donkey nation, some scion of said clan earned the name/epithet "Ass Kicker".
(In present time, while her eponymous descendant would by no means change her name, out of respect for her famous ancestress, she's getting real tired of saying "No offense!")
...also, regarding the title, I heartily expect someone in the comments to point me at story and chapter.
I have a "Face Kicker" collateral kin of hers at West Hoof almost 100 years earlier.
