Coming Eventually: Power Ponies: The Coming Firestorm · 11:49pm Feb 16th, 2017

Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, I must've been bitten by some kind of invisible new fic bug, because I've come up with ANOTHER Displaced project. This one though, I'm gonna go ahead and use the word "unique." Basically, it goes a little something like this:

Jason Edwards goes to a convention dressed up as Firestorm from The Flash where he encounters Kilroy, who offers him an exact replica of the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. orb thingy from the show-

Be paitent, I'm getting to the part where the twist comes in. So, Jason buys the cube, Kilroy TRIES to give it to him, thinking he just Displaced another sucker... but can't let go. Neither can Jason. The two start glowing like they're on fire and begin to merge. These are the last words the pair of them speak before the resulting nuclear explosion levels the convention center and vaporizes everyone in it:

"Oh... shit."

Jason wakes up in Maretropolis, but Kilroy's voice is inside his head, as a sort of built-in Barbra Gordon/Oracle. Oh, and when the fused duo look at thier reflection, this is the face that stares back at them:

The two beings, now merged into Firestorm, after a bit of debate, decide to become anti-heroes, and of course attract the attention of the Power Ponies, with whom Firestorm quickly becomes arch-rivals with, like Batman and Red Hood. But, despite beating villains like the Mane-iac, the Shadowbolt, and other faceless, nameless criminals to either death or within an inch of their lives, a bigger mystery abounds: according to Kilroy, the orb was sabotaged, and only another Displacer could've done. Question is, who and what will they throw at Firestorm?
