If I publish a story and no one reads it, does it still count? · 6:48pm Feb 8th, 2017
So I published a story yesterday and well you read the title of this post.
Now, this isn't exactly a please go read my story and like/fav/follow post.
I fully accept that many of you saw an adventure story with Nightmare Moon and said "not for me". (I'm sure others said "so Nightmare Moon is going to adopt Scoots?)
And that's fine. I'm aware the non response may be the market telling me to write something else. But if you like my other stuff and might enjoy an adventure story, go check it out.
which story is it?

The cover art implies a dark story, its pretty on the head
I only recently followed you, so I am unsure how much of a response you're used to getting in 24 hours, but I for one tend to start reading new stories a day or two after they post. That's just timing trouble for me, mostly, combines with the fact that I read very slow.
This sounds like a story I'd want to read
I just took a stab at it and i'll put it on the top of my reading list.
that story, I'm going to read it but I want to wait till you added more to it. does look like a great read to.
Hey, I read the story and even commented, I guess I'm just a no one (jk). I think you probably didn't get much of a response because it was outside the context of most of your other stories. Most people probably are following you based on reading your slice of life and adoption Scotaloo stories. Since this story is very different then what your usual base of readers would expect from you it may take longer to gain the traction other stories have. It may need to find it's way to the appropriate groups to bring in more readers who may be interested in a Nightmare Rarity adventure story to get a better gauge on if people are actually interested in this type of story.
I hope ' HMXTaylor Lee' is doing okay and you've at least heard from him?
