shhhhhhhhhhhh just breaking the site again don't mind me

very, very, very experimental fic continues its slow progress as the deadline for bicyclette's sci-fi contest draws near. these chapters are about on-par with what if in terms of length, but oh boy have they been an interesting experience to write.

hey hey btw i've got a (couple of) public minecraft server(s)!

yeah so anyway here is my webbed site lol. there's an MC Classic server for building whatever, and an MC Beta 1.7.3 server for playing survival. I might eventually also put up a modern vanilla server as well, though given how I'm hosting a bunch of servers already for friends and a couple of discord servers, idk if the little slab of a PC I'm using to host 'em all would be able to manage lol.

summer break is almost here :V

basically got one week left lol. got an experimental fic in the works that's a sort-of direct sequel picking off right where Splintershard ended. no prior reading is necessary.

MAN it's been a while since I've toyed with writing styles.

Android was originally a clone of BlackBerry's mobile OS.

American cheese is actually a mix of many different cheeses mixed together.

YouTube was originally a video dating site.

(I'm not entirely sure about the YouTube one but the sources and videos I've seen about its history all say so.)

The woman who rented her garage to Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998 when they were creating Google later became the CEO of YouTube

Anne Frank is on YouTube. She was captured on film while leaning out of her window to get a good look of a wedding.

The oldest video of cats on YouTube dates from 1894.

If you search for "Do the Harlem shake" on YouTube, the page itself will do the Harlem Shake for you.

Family Guy once used footage from 9-year-old YouTube video in one of its episodes without permission from the owner. The owner's original clip was then removed from Youtube for copyright infringement.

4412087 I'm thinking that you've decided to add additional facts to each post?

4412090 Yeah... I'm like the brony version of Vsauce

There are more than 2000 varieties of cheese available worldwide, mozzarella is the favorite around the globe, and the most consumed.

Apart from Android 1.0 and 1.1, all other Android versions have been named after sweet treats or desserts. These codenames are chosen alphabetically and have thus far all been dessert items. Some codenames are associated with more than one version number, while others are limited to only a specific one. The reason for this inconsistency is not currently known. The naming typically appears to correspond to changes in the developer API levels, but this is not always true (example: 3.0 and 3.1 are both “Honeycomb” but they have different API levels). The names of different versions are :-

Cupcake:

Android 1.5
Donut:

Android 1.6
Eclair:

Android 2.0
Android 2.1
Froyo: (short for “frozen yogurt”)

Android 2.2
Gingerbread:

Android 2.3
Honeycomb:

Android 3.0
Android 3.1
Android 3.2
Ice Cream Sandwich:

Android 4.0
Jelly Bean:

Android 4.1
Android 4.2
Android 4.3
KitKat:

Android 4.4
Lolipop:

Android 5.0
Android 5.1
Marshmallow

Android 6.0

Android versions have been following an alphabetical order in their naming and upgrades but many users have failed to notice this.

A for Astro (1.0)
B for Bender (1.1)
C for Cupcake (1.5)
D for Donut (1.6)
E for Eclair (2.0)
F for Froyo (2.2.x)
G for Gingerbread (2.3.x)
H for Honeycomb (3.x)
I for Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.x)
J for Jelly Bean (4.3)
K for KitKat (4.4)
L for Lollipop (5.0)
M for Marshmallow (6.0)

4412111 You forgot Android 7 - Nougat.

4412129 Regarding Android 7, I couldn't actually find what it's named after, it probably is nougat though.

4412137 It's Nougat. I've read it off of Google's official announcement.

4412158 Bananas are actually berries.

4412161 The scientific name for banana is musa sapientum, which means “fruit of the wise men.”

The fastest marathon ever run by a competitor dressed as a fruit was 2 hours, 58 minutes, and 20 seconds—recorded at the Barcelona Marathon on March 6, 2011. The runner was Patrick Wightman from the United Kingdom, who dressed as a banana.

4412182 He had to make like a banana and split! :rainbowwild:

4412185 :facehoof: With 33,000 bananas, 2,500 gallons of ice cream and 150 gallons of chocolate syrup, Selinsgrove, PA made a 4.5-mile banana split to regain a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

August 25th is National Banana Split Day. 5 days before my birthday

I see you love Paradoxes Mr. "This Statement Is False"

Imagine that a family has two children, one of whom we know to be a boy. What then is the probability that the other child is a boy? The obvious answer is to say that the probability is 1/2—after all, the other child can only be either a boy or a girl, and the chances of a baby being born a boy or a girl are (essentially) equal. In a two-child family, however, there are actually four possible combinations of children: two boys (MM), two girls (FF), an older boy and a younger girl (MF), and an older girl and a younger boy (FM). We already know that one of the children is a boy, meaning we can eliminate the combination FF, but that leaves us with three equally possible combinations of children in which at least one is a boy—namely MM, MF, and FM. This means that the probability that the other child is a boy—MM—must be 1/3, not 1/2.

What if you travel in time and kill your grandfather before he meets your grandmother?

Why is water cheaper than diamonds, since humans need water, not diamonds, to survive?

Although not all numbers are square numbers, there are no more numbers than square numbers

If everyone tries to save during a recession, aggregate demand will fall and the population's total savings will be lower.

4412208 The price of diamonds is actually drastically inflated compared to how much it costs to mine and polish them. Why? Because the diamond companies want to be rich, and cooperated to artificially inflate the price.

The diamond companies also see synthetically fabricated diamonds as a threat to their business, since it's even cheaper than mining to simply grow a diamond.

PINKIE, TELL YOUR FAMILY THAT THEY NEED TO GET INTO THE DIAMOND FARMING BUSINESS!

4412251 Diamonds form about 100 miles below ground and have been carried to the earth’s surface by deep volcanic eruptions.

Pinkie said they tried, but they couldn't find any.

Instructions:
Step 1: plug in deposition chamber
Step 2: connect to a steady supply of pure carbon
Step 3: set necessary settings to allow for maximum growth rate
