WELL, it's nice to know that I'm doing a super job of keeping up a schedule first thing this year. XD
The good news is that I AM writing -- it's just taking longer than I'd expected for lots of stupid reasons. However, one of those stupid reasons is that I actually bought a new computer!! X3 It's been a long time coming, since I've had my old one since about '07 or '08 and it was starting to be really, really slow. I won't lie, I shut the old girl down for (probably) the last time today, and I got a little emotional. That computer saw me through some rough times, and I wrote ALL of my pony stories up until now on it... it's silly, but it's kind of hard for me to NOT be sad about that.
However, since I got it two (I think) days ago, I've been spending that time getting used to the new system (from Windows Vista up to Windows 10... wtf m8 ) and updating seemingly everything under the sun. Now that everything's caught up, properly updated, etc etc, I can finally get back to writing on a more consistent basis.
A new chapter of Consanguinity is in the works, friends, as well as the ghost of an idea for something to write alongside it... but I'm also planning on starting my own original works soon, so I don't know if I'm going to actually be able to manage two different pony stories at once. Probably I'll just wait until Consanguinity is done before I start anything else. Oh well, c'est la vie. XD
