Still getting used to the basic rigging. I tried a little of infamous "node view," but if you're going to start out using it, try doing it on a small scale first; making an entire MLP puppet without parenting each part respectively can make the character composite node a mess.
I haven't found a way involving "drawing substitution" (in Flash User terms, this is Toon Boom's Answer to "Keyframe Caddy"). It would be helpful for clothing.
Unlike Illustrator, there is no "Pen Tool." However, you can still modify the lines themselves (still researching
Something I forgot to mention last post, I can't save a work while in trial mode, so these blog posts will count as "R&D."
Something definitely worth noting is that, like After Effects, individual parts can be moved in x, y, and z axis using the coordinates window. This is beneficial as you can create the illusion that a hand is behind a person's back and so forth. This is not possible (at least for now) in Flash/Animate without having to give another layer. How were they able to achieve this in Flash is currently beyond me or my reach of communicating (trade secret and all).
