Civil War of Harmony Chapter 28 Delay · 10:38pm Jan 30th, 2017
Hey everypony! Just thought I'd give you all an update on Chapter 28... It's not going to come out this Saturday, I'm delaying it by 1-2 weeks. Hopefully just 1-2 weeks... More information below the break.
As you may know, I was sick early this month and late last month. Basically, I only recovered sometime in the past 2-4 weeks. I don't remember well enough to say specifically when I recovered. Anyway, because of that, and the time of year being busy, I'm really behind in my writing. Normally I'd have a chapter mostly done and being preread by now, but I've not really even started on Chapter 28. Like, at all. I haven't even started drafting the chapter outline. I do have some ideas, but pasting them together into a coherent chapter may be... difficult. The ideas aren't really related to each other, but they do add to the story. It's like making a story about a greater event going on, but following a hundred different people rather than just a few who are close to the big events. Maybe I could make that work for one chapter or so... although it would be hard to follow.
But there is good news. I'm close to finishing one of my other massive stories. Writing 15,000 word chapters and pushing them out every two weeks is about as easy as it sounds. It may be burning me out slightly... After that happens, I'll be focusing on this story more and another one which is... probably around eighty percent done. After the other one is done, I plan to focus solely on this story for... some time, then write another story, and then start on a sequel to another story. Hey, I have a lot of plans and a lot of ideas, okay? I just... I don't have a lot of time. I'm enthusiastic, though. At least right now. I have good and bad days.
TL;DR, Chapter 28 is being delayed by a couple weeks at least. Soon I will have less projects to work on and will be able to work on Civil War of Harmony more, but I do have more future plans. My enthusiam has good and bad days. I'm generally enthusiastic about writing Civil War of Harmony.
