    Next chapter of Hindsight...

First, I'm sorry I haven't posted this earlier.

Hindsight is not dead, I just don't have much energy to work on the story at the moment. Work is exhausting because we are still hugely understaffed, and I'm quite flattened when I come home. Creative juices are low.

    I do wonder

Episode 22 of Season 7 will be called Once Upon a Zeppelin.

This is the family crest of the von Zeppelins, the same family the airships are named after.
Could the inventor/promoter/producer of Equestrian airships have been a donkey?

    Another Chapter Preview!

Tiffin cocked her head with utmost innocence. “Not sure, but I think we’ve joined a gang. We even had an emblem.”

Before speaking up, Brighteyes glanced to his wife and Peafowl, and instead of concern, he saw curiosity in their eyes. “A pretty pegasus guard smuggled us into Canterlot Castle, and long story short, the place is now full of pigeon poop.”

As it has become tradition for the Weedverse...

...and because I finally finished the latest chapter that introduced the last character, here are roleplay classes for Hindsight.
I'll still put the new character under a spoiler bar, just to be sure...

Brighteyes would be some expert/aristocrat multiclass. Yes, purely NPC classes. A struggling lawful good.

Tea Treat would be a wizard. Neutral good.

Taking a minute to process what he was seeing and what it could mean, Brighteyes blinked twice.

After a few hours of - thank Princess Luna - dreamless sleep, he had been pacing through his apartment, dusting here, adjusting there, only to climb the stairs to the dovecote every ten minutes to see if Montblanc had returned. Just when the waiting had threatened to become unbearable – and Brighteyes considered himself a very patient pony – Tiffin Treat had rushed into his store, shouting that a friend of Peafowl had come to the tearoom and asked for him.

It wasn’t a stiff upper lipped one. Those that visited used his full name as a code, as almost nopony else did, and the stranger had asked for him as ‘Brighteyes’. Not sure what to expect, he had taken his rapier with him, just in case.

Now he was standing in the middle of the Tea & Tiffin, the smell of wet pegasus mixed with the usual one of incense and herbs strong in his nose. In front of him, laying on his back, was a stallion, an olive mountain of muscles, feathers and fur. Tiffin was nearby, a triumphant smile on her face.

“Lady, I’m telling you, I just-” the stallion began in a deep baritone voice.

“Quiet, creep!”

Brighteyes, deciding that asking would outdo any further observation, spoke up in the most cultured voice he could muster. “May I please know what has taken place here?”

“I had just woken up, and my brother was still sleeping, so I figured I’d make breakfast or dinner or whatever for us all, so I went to the kitchen and got started, and then I heard somepony enter. At first, I thought it was you, ‘cause the tearoom looks closed and we only left the door open in case you needed something or had news, but then I see him here lurking in my house, so I tackled him, he asked for you and said it was important, and I told him I’d go get you, but if he’d move one inch or if he was a spy or something, I’d buck his hide into next week,” Tiffin explained with rapid speed.

I think I finally found the right angle for the first half of the next chapter. I know what I want from the second half, but I couldn't get anything done as long as the unresolved state of the first one was bugging me.
