It never ceases to amaze me when I come to check in here that it's been a while since I checked in here. >.>
It's just kind of a thing, really; I've had a job change since I last wrote a blog entry. Add to that two conventions that were back to back, the holidays... oh, yeah, and that one convention that met a bad end.
So, updates (for those who actually still check in on me!)
I'm having a friend of mine pre-read/re-read Sunset's Last Glow. One of the advantages of having something there for so long and then getting back to it is that you grow as a writer... but then you also look back on what you wrote and go "Ewwww..." (don't tell me it doesn't happen!) and you see the mistakes you've made. Oh well.
The other project I've started I need to do some more research on and continue to write the prologue. I've got a solid outline of events, so now it's the job of illustrating them for you to see.
The newest thought I had I'm still fleshing out. I'm not going to say a lot about it right not because doing so has had a tendency to short-circuit the creative process, but stay tuned as I begin work on it--and gather up a pre-reader or two for when I have content for them to mull over.
TL;DR I'm not dead, SLG has "issues" and two new ideas in the mix.
