Remembering

While it is still the Year of the Rooster, today marks yet another special day, but not one particularly happy.

This day marks the sixteenth anniversary of my grandfather's passing. There have been many sad days for me, but this one I remember in the back of my skull. I remember me crying with my siblings and cousin in one room after each of us visited him. And it was on that day that I figured that the world makes little sense and have become increasingly bitter.

I'm better now, but I still wish that he could be around longer, just around my high school years when my grandmother passed on as well.
