Well, I know I promised y'all a chapter today, but I'm giving you a heads up now that due to some delays in the editing, that likely won't happen. I also promised weekly updates, so I'm making sure to fulfill that obligation now. I have one more scene to rewrite, and then we can start the round 2 edits. Because Pipistrelle starts her new job tomorrow, I'm pumping away at this as fast as I can to make sure this goes up ASAP.
At the latest, expect Chapter 15 - "Investment" - to go up over the weekend, either Friday or Saturday. Especially given how much I struggled while writing this one, I'm really, really pleased with the initial feedback from Promptanon and Pip.
Progress on Chapter 16 has paused while I wrap up editing on Chapter 15, but as soon as that goes live, you better believe I'll hit the ground running again.
In the meantime, I gotta take a moment to point y'all toward a wonderful (and spoilery) piece I commissioned from MisterMech a couple months back. It shows the scene that concluded Chapter 13, and I love it to death, but if you aren't at least that far caught up with the story, should probably not click.
Regardless, look forward to Chapter 15 at long last!
