No no, it's true, I continue to see the light of day. In lieu of the new year, I'm gonna make this post which I should have made a long time ago.
Chapter 10 is finished and getting final edits. Expect it within the week. Stuff's changing up this chapter as we move into part II and I'm super excited to see what you all think.
There are full rewrites for the entirety of Spec's storyline up to this point that are also nearing completion. Expect them within the week too, probably before the next chapter comes out. Rest assured, reading the rewrites is not required; they all end up in the same spot; I made sure of that. I was really conflicted with doing rewrites at all, but honestly I just felt that the Spec storyline was meandering and not half as interesting as the Eden/Sage one brewing in Hub City, and so I decided to rewrite it. For those who are worried about this thing being bogged down in rewrites and not moving forward (including myself), here is a promise: this is the last time I'm doing this. I've got plans now. I'm not making it up as I go along. Incidentally, this will help the other big problem, namely that there are two completely separate storylines right now. Expect that to be fixed in Part II as well.
That's all for now; I'd hoped to have the stuff done and out by today but unfortunately the business of the holiday season got the better of me. Hope everyone's been good, and I'll have that stuff out pronto.
