I am not a songwriter -- are any of you?

One thing some of you know, and others might not, is that I tend to bounce about a bit in my writing. I tend to write pieces of future chapters at the same time as I am writing my current chapter.

There is a song I want Sweetie Belle to sing to Rarity in the chapter after this one, or at the very latest, the one beyond that. I have known of this for literally years, and I have stared at the void of the song, writing small amounts of it that never quite come out right for those same years. Nothing I have thus far tried has done it any modicum of justice.

It doesn't need to be long, and it is just lyrics for Sweetie Belle, but if I do it myself, unless I make some mammoth breakthrough, I am likely to cop out and meta it.

And yes, I have been working at the current chapter and the two after it. I wanted it posted before I got really busy for Christmas. Of course I turned around and instead got sick (and my writing when I am sick stinks), and once I got over it, I was more stressed for time that I would otherwise have been. At any rate, the year is now over, and the chapter will be out this month, quite possibly in the first half of the month, and at the very worst a few days into February.

Which again puts me yet closer to needing that song.
