Some people in the last journal entry (both on DA and on here) may have a point: that the supposed seventh Element of Harmony, Love, is something just for the FiM TCG. Season 3 may still reveal such a thing, though, but yeah, I'm not gonna wait for it.
Either that, or it ends up revealing it while I'm still working on the fic...given that I continue procrastinating at this rate. >_>;
And then, there is this. "Harmonic Spectrum" is, as much as it is the truth, is still just a fanfic at this point. Alternate takes, what-ifs that could end up making sense, stuff that can potentially take on a life on their own (like certain horror FiM fics)... That's all they are, written by us, the fans. Should Hasbro decide to canonize Super Dash, I think they're most likely going to transform her through the Element of Loyalty alone and do the same with the other ponies. You know, to keep up the whole "friendship is magic" and teamwork theme as in the two season openings... Unless they decide to do it differently and have them siphon their energies over to Dash like I'm doing. *shrug*
So yeah, I'm going to continue it regardless of what they do...unless they pull off somethiing major that could REALLY throw off things here. But I doubt it. And that's that.

Hey, remember how this all started because of stuff in the FiM merchandise. Well don't look now, but the canon/merchandising issue is about to get even more confusing. If the wiki is any indication, we're also getting a comic book, with the first four issues being a post-season 2 story arc featuring the changelings again.
