I got some great openings to embed from UK and Australia VHS tapes. They are from an American YouTuber who recently bought them for himself.
AUSTRALIAN VHS OPENINGS
I have had and retain a great deal of respect for the Australian people and the Australian culture, just to get this off my chest. This I dedicate to the user known as Boulder.
First one is a VHS copy of THE DOMINO PRINCIPAL from around 1982. Like most of 20th Century-Fox's Aussie tapes from that time, it just starts off with the warning and the logo.
Second one is a VHS copy of BLOODY MAMA from 1984. This Roadshow release has previews for BLOOD OF THE OTHERS, HEARTACHES and EMPIRE OF THE ANTS.
Third one is a VHS copy of ARTHUR from 1987. Very minimal this time, just having the warning, the WHV logo of the period, and the Orion Pictures logo. As for the WHV logo, it has an intriguing fade out on the tape.
BRITISH VHS OPENINGS
A LOT of these are minimal in their content.
