I Am Immune To The Light: Change of Plans. Also, a hair-brained idea

Greetings Gotham, Joker here! I've been doing some thinking and I'm really not feeling the whole three-way war concept for I Am Immune To The Light anymore. However, that's not to say I'm scrapping the project. Oh, no, no, no, no. I'm just doing a different concept for it. Kylo Ren still gets betrayed by Snoke, and he still gets sent to Equestria, which I might add, is NOT in the grip of a three-way war and instead of becoming the supersoldier for The New Lunar Republic, he actually becomes Luna's answer to Celestia's Mane 6/Elements of Harmony, becoming her enforcer/ right-hand man. And to top it off, he begins to put together a NEW incarnation of the Knights of Ren, which is basically a gang of Dark Jedi (a term that I've come to understand means that they're anti-heroes who use Dark Side powers... and that they're heretics in Luke Skywalker's eyes, but who cares what he thinks, he ran for the hills when the First Order showed up) that are sort of the Suicide Squad equivalent to Celestia's Justice League-esque Mane 6. My proposed roster of Equestrian Knights of Ren are as follows:

Gilda the Griffon (I'm thinking of maybe shipping her with Kylo instead of Luna in the first story)
Lightning Dust
Starlight Glimmer
Sunset Shimmer

I would also appreciate suggestions for other members as well.

Now, for that hair-brained story idea I mentioned. Basically, it goes like this:

The Empire has completed construction for their new superweapon, the Death Star. But, there's a problem: they need a power source strong enough to be able to blast planets to smithereens. This is what, or rather, who, they end up using for that power source:

How else do you explain this?
