Just thought I'd drop in and say that Melodious Desideratum has recently hit 200 likes!
You guys are phenomenal. You really know how to make a guy feel good about himself. Love you all!
Now, I know that chapters have been fewer and farther in between, and I regret to say it, but our story is coming to a close. It's definitely a bittersweet feeling, because on one hoof, we'll be reaching a conclusion, and that's always exciting, but on the other . . . Melodious Desideratum has become a part of my life, and I'm not enthusiastic about eliminating my daily writing sessions with Octavia and Symphonic Keys.
Now, I'll be working on a few other things, of course. I might even do a collab or two. Who knows?
Something might be coming soon, but I don't know the level of motivation it will require to produce. So I don't know whether it'll be out tomorrow, or in a week or two.

These things tend to happen on their own schedule, whether those of us allegedly in charge like it or not. I'm still flailing about looking for ideas, and ideas, for some reason, just aren't speaking to me these days.
Not that I, of course, would ever recommend a sequel.
It will bring me great joy and great sorrow to send off the last chapters of Melodious Desideratum, but great things in life must always cone to an end.
But in the winters of its time, it only seems fair to give it one last cheer to help it across the finish line. Yes, my friends, it has been a great run while it lasted, but it cannot last forever. I await the final chapters, knowing that Symphonic Keys has grown into a fine young stallion and no longer needs our guidance. 
Now, go get her, Symphonic! Octavia's waiting for you! 
The great thing about stories is they need not end. Sure that particular story may end, but so long as you feel like writing, I will continue to read. Finish strong with Melodious Desideratum and move on to the next one! Hell, maybe even create your own universe in which you explore other pony's lives in the world that Octavia and Keys inhabit. That way you can occasionally give little shout outs to them whenever you start feeling nostalgic. Keep up the great work!
