Ok, my first story related blog.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that a lot of you guys are looking for an update, and have been for a long time.

I can sympathize. I hate waiting for another chapter to a story I love... especially when that wait is months if not years.

I've hit quite the road block, though. Honestly, I think I advanced too far too fast, and probably copied too much of the original story (although that was one of the more time consuming things when I was actually writing chapters. I'm also not currently interested in Robotech; I'm not absolutely sure why, it might be my surroundings, the lighting in the room, events in my life... but I've lost interest, at least temporarily, for it.

My main interest in the series was the Second Robotech War (since those DVDs were the first of the series I rented in the public library), but I recognize how the fandom largely hates that. I've had ideas, but considering I already procrastinate a lot and play too many video games already, not to mention giving most of my attention to two stories (one being The War of 1002, my first story on the site, the other being Let's play some games with Leon, Luna, and Eddy), I haven't bothered with making a story set in the Second Robotech War timeline. I'm only a few words into the next chapter.

Don't worry, the story isn't cancelled, and I'm not putting it on hiatus, because I hate both of those things happening to other stories. I will attempt to write more. but unlike The War of 1002, when I started, I didn't have a complete idea of what I ultimately wanted. I just seized on my then major interest in the series (as well as on the fact that I knew a lot of people would like Robotech ). The result was a burst of writing, followed, as the interest wore off, by a slow down of incoming chapters.

To the guys who say I could have asked them advice... well... I guess my answer is that I'm kind of an introvert, and I'm not used to taking the initiative when it comes to asking for help, and naturally, being as human as any of you, sometimes I don't like all the ideas offered. It's not you, it's me.

Again, not cancelling or putting it on hiatus, but stuff going on with me has kinda stonewalled the project, at least for the past several months. I will attempt to continue; I have no intention of publishing a story on this site that I won't complete (which is why I have a number of stories, including a Mobile Suit Gundam crossover and a Red Alert 3 crossover, rotting in storage right now). I just have more focus on getting through The War of 1002 and Leon, Luna and Eddy at the moment (my interest in the Civil War and other historic conflicts being my main focus in study, and video gaming being a passion with me the way football is for a lot of guys).

I apologize for the wait so far and for the waiting to come. I love the fact that people love my stories and I hate that I procrastinate so much. Please forgive me.
