So I had a rather fun idea for a movie worthy of the SyFy channel while I was taking a shower.

It is a few weeks before the climactic Battle of Waterloo, and a group of British spies are attempting to elude a contingent of French soldiers as they bring back dispatch on Napoleon's troop movements. While in hiding, they stumble across a forgotten Viking burial ground that harbors a horrifying secret. When the spies unwisely steal some of the buried treasure for themselves, they unleash an ancient curse so horrifying, it defies imagination. The vengeful spirits of the dead arise with a burning hatred of the living, hunting down the fleeing spies one by one, and all the while, the French Army is closing in...
Let's just say the climax would involve the Grand Armee taking on an army of Viking zombies.

I'm shocked syfy hasn't made that. Probably because it doesn't have enough sharks, giant spiders, or snakes.

But the draugr are actually pretty fucking intense themselves. I mean, they're a bit more than your average, run of the mill zombie. They actually have some vampire-like abilities, and are just out to kill your ass instead of eat your brain or drink your blood.
